NEW PROJECTS
NEW PROJECT: VISITATION CENTER
NEED: CASA is developing a new Visitation Center to provide a place children to visit their families that is safe, neutral, and provides supervision, on-site training and resources. CASA wanted the video to:
Be boldly creative and visually engaging
Dramatize the confusion of the current visitation, the negative consequences for children and the need for change
Explain their vision for the new center, how it will work and the benefits it offers the families, case workers, court systems and the community
Introduce and showcase in their fund raising campaign
DISCOVERY: CASA’s initial idea was funhouse imagery to show the disorientation a child might experience when visits with parents are inconsistent, unstable or unpredictable. Flatland provided CASA with multiple script reviews to make sure the messaging was accurate and impactful, and that the creative carnival metaphors were both compelling and clear. Once finished, the video will be a showcase in their fund raising efforts for the new facility, allowing potential investors and contributors to see CASA’s vision through the eyes of children it benefits.

DELIVERABLE: 3 minute video. Premium digital 2d animation with 3d environment design.
“This Visitation Center has been a labor of love for over a decade.
As we take steps to turning it into a reality, we sought a video to unify our story and mission.
To communicate with clarity the impact this will have - and also to touch the heart.”

SHELTERING ARMS
NEED: During the Covid pandemic, there was an increased need in rapid testing processes. Enter Worksite Labs. This video was used to explain their labs, their process for rapid response, and was used in seeking investment in expanding their network of pop-up shipping-container satellite lab locations during the pandemic.
Simple, clear step-by-step process demonstration
Demonstrate accuracy of the tracking process during volume testing
Highly reliability as well as speed
DISCOVERY: The simple graphic approach allowed Worksite Labs to focus on the process, procedures, reliability and benefits of their technology. Worksite Labs was given design and animation review and approval to make sure this simplified introduction to their methods was accurate and clear enough for scrutiny from political leaders, advocacy groups, the medical industry, and potential investors.
